So the kids have informed me that they want to "take the weekend off". So tonight when I get off work, we will go finish up the last little bit of school shopping, and call it done. I have to say, I just think those kids are awesome!! I love weekends of no plans and nothing to do. Niki and I will probably watch Gilmore Girls, or the Food Network. Kevin will play UB Funkeys or games and we will just have some relaxation before school starts. I went to the school yesterday and met Kevin's teacher, she seemed ok. This will be her first year at the school, and you could tell, her classroom was very boring. Kevin and Niki both have set some pretty aggressive goals to get straight A's this year. It always makes me so proud that they care about making good grades as much as Jeremy and I do.
On a sader note, Jeremy's Aunt Bonnie passed away this week. Kody and Jeremy did not want them to hold up the services for them to get there, they did not think it would be fair to Micheal and Ray (Bonnie's sons) so the services were Wed/Thur. I have to say this has been a ruff two years for Sally. She lost Bubba Darrayl last year, Melvin, Johnny Chestang, and now Bonnie this year. I will keep her in my prayers for strenght and understanding of GOD's plan.
On a personal note, my Granny was put in the hostpital last night. She was unable to keep any fluids in her system yesterday, and she had a fever of 103.5. She was not able to take any of her medications or even drink water. I will be thinking of her and praying for her also.
