This is on the lefthand side of the bedroom, I forgot to take a pic of the righthand side. That is where all of the wonderfu ironing takes place!!
This was at the bed looking out into the kitchen to the right is the closet, to the left is the bathroom, the monkey in the middle is my silly kid Niki Byrd
Our House....
When you walk in the front door this is the first thing you see. That is a picture that Jeremy brought me back from Deployment 07. Also, Jeremy's dad's bible and a picture of Melvin.
When you look to the right, this is the front living room. Nothing special, but I like it. (say Hi to JoJo there in the middle)
JoJo..what a ham
Wild Wonderful Weekend!!!
Well...The Wonderful Tide has Rolled!!!! We are now #2 in the nation!!! Now, I am no fool...I know that can change on Any Given Saturday, however I am a happy smiling Bama Girl right now!!!!
I finally got a few emails from Jeremy on Sunday. Communication had been down since Wednesday~ish, so it was nice to know he was still alive :) They are now fighting pirates!! There is a video on youtube about what is going on. This video clip mentions the USS Howard, which is Justin's ship, but about a hour after Gina sent this over to me, Jeremy sent us (Gina and me) an email telling Gina to tell Justin to go outside and wave to him. So I guess the Roosie has arrived.

Niki and Kevin think it is dang kool that their dad and Justin are out there fighting pirates!! On a more serious note, we need to keep both of these ships and their sailors in our thoughts and prayers. As well as the crew on board the hostage ship.
Sunday was EXTREMELY productive for Da Byrd's. We went to church on Sunday, took Ashley to get something to eat before workshop, took the A-Team some lunch, visited with Madrea and iddy biddy, then went home, started work on the garage, went picked Ashley back up from workshop, took her to Wal-Mart to get Fusion Weekend items (picked up Niki Byrd's also), took Ashley home, went back and finished the garage, took items to the Salvation Army, came back home started work on the "weed" bed in the front yard, got about 20% done. Went inside, took showers, I did homework till 11:30~ish then off to bed...WHEWWWW. Busy Busy. I did laugh b/c Jeremy sent me an email last night while I was working on homework wondering why I had not written him much all day, he said "have you been busy"...UMMM yeah.
Jeremy was gone for a month yesterday :( with no real end in sight due to how long this deployment is. I guess I have football to keep me company until January.
I have actually decided to do lots of cleaning out and organization. With Jeremy not here requesting to keep every single thing I come across, it will be easier. I have worked on the kitchen a bit, I need to get rid of pans and bowls that I have had for years. I want to price getting a water softener system for the house, the hard water stains are KILLING my dishes, silverware, and glasses. Since we are staying here for a while I have starting looking at this house a little different. Like I really want to "move in". It is a nice house, it just holds a few sore spots for me right now, but I will get over it. Things are looking up for us, and come January, I really think we will be in a good spot, GOD willing.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy week!!

This Week...and it is only Thursday....
Well, Maria is back from the hospital, which is wonderful, however she is not doing as well as she should. She has some things going on that needs to be looked at, so I hope that everyone keeps her in their prayers. I have a good bit of homework tonight, so I can't go over, however I hope to go over tomorrow and Saturday to help out in any way I can. Baby Adalena's numbers for jaundice are back up so she has a home tanning bed now that she has to stay in.
Niki brought home a bad grade. Not due to struggling in class, but for not turning in work that she actually completed. I found out that Kevin was not fully truthful to me about his bad grades, so I was so disappointed in both of them. So the Byrd house is on lock down from doing anything fun until report card.
This weekend is a big game for my Bama Boys....wish them luck as the take on the Georgia Bulldogs in their "Black" uniforms....GRRRR...I know we can pull this win out!! Won't I just be a happy happy camper on Monday!!!!

Weekend UPS and downs
Football was GREAT this weekend...lots of good games, lots of good wins!! Saturday was a nice day, just hung out around the house with Niki Kevin and Meghan. Then went to St John's Town Center to run a few errands...you know all that crazy "adult" stuff. Niki spent the night at Meghans' so it was just me and Kevin. We watched the first half of the LSU/Auburn game, then I met Jeremy on the computer during half time and stayed in the computer room the rest of the game. Kevin watched the game in the living room for me and gave me updates as they happened. Since Jeremy broke my laptop a few days before he left, now I only have the reg desktop in the back. The worst part is the chair. It is SOO uncomfortable.
Sunday afternoon was not as great as Saturday was. I logged on to my school website to check my grades from last week and to do my homework for the day. I went into my accounting class and there were two messages waiting for me. I had a paper due last week of 1000 words that I had completed, however when I posted the attachment, I posted the wrong one!!! I could not believe it. I was given a 0 of 100!! I started crying immediately. Then the very next post, I had not attached anything at all for an assignment that I did a few days ago (Friday I think). I re posted both of the assignments and begged for mercy. I also placed a call to the instructor. I thought I was handling all of this stress pretty well, but I guess I am not. I am just going to take it easy for a few weeks and just chill. I sometimes think I am loosing my mind. I am sure it will get better, but the "end" is so far off.
Well Please pray that my Week will be ok, I am not asking for a "GREAT" week, just an "ok" week will be just fine with me.

Meet the Parents!!
Here are Maria and Adrit (Adrian) that you will hear me talk about a lot in the blog. Adrian was a chief on the boat with Jeremy, he just got off the boat, so lucky for him, he did not miss the birth of the little one on the way!! They are great people and have really influenced our life in many wonderful ways. They were able to get Jeremy to go to church, and we now go every Sunday. We have been for most of this year. Thier whole world revolves around their kids, and that is awesome. We are like that also. It is also nice to have them to go on "date night" with, they are just awesome!! Very blessed to have them in our lives.

NIki's Birthday Weekend Fun (Friday)
Niki wanted to go shopping and "hang out" for her birthday and then let some of her friends sleep over. So we met the Puliam's at the St John's Town Center. We had dinner at Five Guys burgers, then let the girls walk around. They had a great time and Niki spent all of her money. The hat she is wearing is from The Puliam's she wears that hat every morning to school just about. She had a really nice time.
