Today...My little baby Niki turns into a teenager....

Am I worried, surprisingly no. She is an awesome kid. I can't say enough about her. She is very sweet, respectful, helpful around the house, and just an all around good kid. We are active in church now, and her and Kevin really seem to take to it. Kevin loves Awanna's and Kids' Rock. Niki loves being a part of the youth and she had found some great friends. We have a very close and open relationship. I think I owe a lot of that to a TV show...I know it sounds weird, so let me explain. Niki and I both LOVE the Gilmore girls...and anyone that has seen that show knows how incredibly close Lorali and Rory are...I think due to seeing that it really turned Niki on to the "plan" of being that close with me. She really goes out of her way to tell me lots of things, and she is very honest with me, sometimes about things I really don't want to hear..lol. I hate that Jeremy is gone so much, she really misses him. Well....not too much longer and it will be shore duty...only 2 more years....
